The Texas AGEP Program values participants from a broad range of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives, and roles, to build a community within which they can learn from both their differences and similarities. People from under-represented backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a citizen, national or permanent resident of the United States.
- Participants must be affiliated with a UT System Academic institution (UTA, UTSA, UTEP, UTPB, UT Tyler, Stephen F. Austin State University or UTRGV).
- Participants must be a STEM advanced doctoral candidate who has passed qualifying exams and interested in a career in Higher Ed or a postdoctoral associate/scholar from a UT System academic institution who is interested in pursuing a career in Higher Ed or a junior faculty on the tenure track at the UT System Academic Institutions.
- Participants must have an interest in becoming a professor.
